Anne Swayne is President of the Keith and Judy Swayne Family Foundation.
She serves on the national Association of Small Foundations Next Generation Committee and Impact Working Group. Anne facilitates foundation convenings in Hawaiʻi and Orange County, California. Anne is a certified family foundation consultant trained at 21/64. She worked with the Resource Generation Family Philanthropy branch serving for 2 years on the planning committee for the Creating Change through Family Philanthropy Retreat.
Anne developed a local chapter of EPIP (Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy). EPIP Hawaiʻi is a chapter of a national organization that through a social justice lens, develops new leaders to enhance organized philanthropy and its impact on communities. EPIP’s principals are generational change and multigenerationalism, social impact to build a better world and philanthropic professionalism and effectiveness. EPIP Hawaiʻi hosts monthly educational lunches for the local philanthropic community, (open to all generations and levels of experience), that focus on the local non-profit sector, local and national philanthropic best practices and refining grant making skills. EPIP Hawaiʻi is also developing a newsletter, and mentorship programs.
When Anne is not focusing on foundation related work, she enjoys volunteering her time and skills to local non-profits. She serves on the board of The Hawaiʻi Art Alliance, presents on panels and workshops for the Hawaiʻi non-profit community and helps organize educational workshops for the Hawaiʻi Non-Profit conference.
One of KUA’s Founding Board Members, Anne served on the KUA Board of Directors from 2012-2021.
