PAKIPIKA – Chili Pepper Water Auction: Uncle Tommy Urpanil (Lana’i Limu Farm)

Uncle Tommy Urpanil – Lana’i

Made by Uncle Tommy Urpanil of Lānaʻi Limu Farm (formerly Lānaʻi Limu Restoration Project). Uncle Tommy was Uncle Allen Kaiaokamalie’s partner in crime (but nothing he will admit to). Uncle Allen, the founder of Lānaʻi Limu Farm, passed away a few years ago but we are lucky that his family and friends continue his vision of limu growing and restoration on Lanaʻi.

Ingredients: Hot water added to chili pepper, Hawaiian salt, garlic and vinegar. Add shoyu for extra added flavor.

Beloved kuaʻāina (fishers, farmers and people of the land throughout the islands) near and dear to Hawaiʻi nei have prepared and generously donated big, beautiful bottles of their special recipe chili pepper waters–for our fundraiser auction and for your table! Your generous winning bid is a donation to KUA and helps make this work possible. Auction ends at midnight on December 26, 2018. See here for a detailed explanation of rules. Our goal is to raise $10,000 with your generous kōkua!
