Hoʻoulu ʻŌpio program students (Castle High School and Heʻeia Fishpond)

The Hoʻoulu ʻŌpio students from Castle High School made this super special  wai nīoi with Kanaloa Bishop, Paepae o Heʻeia’s Ka ʻAi Kamahaʻo Coordinator.

Ingredients:  Apple cider vinegar, nīoi and ākulikuli from Heʻeia Fishpond. Ākulikuli is full of salts and  vitamin c.

Beloved kuaʻāina (fishers, farmers and people of the land throughout the islands) near and dear to Hawaiʻi nei have prepared and generously donated big, beautiful bottles of their special recipe chili pepper waters–for our fundraiser auction and for your table!
