Aunty Luana Albinio – Waimanalo Limu Hui

The Waimānalo Limu Hui is a community based group made up primarily of Waimānalo Residents who seek to replenish the once bountiful supply of limu found in Waimānalo Bay. Under the guidance of kupuna and other limu practitioners, we’re taking one of the most aggressive approaches in the state at restoring the limu population back to the east side of O’ahu.

Beloved kuaʻāina (fishers, farmers and people of the land throughout the islands) near and dear to Hawaiʻi nei have prepared and generously donated big, beautiful bottles of their special recipe chili pepper waters–for our fundraiser auction and for your table! Your generous winning bid is a donation to KUA and helps make this work possible. Auction ends at midnight on December 26, 2018. See here for a detailed explanation of rules. Our goal is to raise $10,000 with your generous kōkua!
