Fishpond Workday at Kīholo (Hawai’i)

June 18, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm

Please join us to care for Ka Loko o Kīholo, where we will be removing invasive vegetation and restoring rock walls. Ben Haloca, a master artisan and weaver, will join us for a talk story about the native sedge found at Kīholo, makaloa.

Work day 9am – 12pm

Potluck lunch 12pm

Talk story 12:30pm – 1:30pm

RSVP by 6/16 to rmost@tnc.org. Friends, ‘ohana and keiki are welcome! Details and directions will be emailed to all participants on 6/17.

Please bring: hat, sunscreen, bathing suit, hiking boots / tabis (water shoes – we can provide if you don’t have), protective clothing, water bottle, beach chair, gloves and hand tools (loppers, hand saws – we can provide along with gloves if you don’t have).
