Potential forward movement for fishpond revitalization

On Friday, June 27, the State of Hawai’i Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands (OCCL) is reporting to the Board of Land and Natural Resources (BLNR) on the State Programmatic General Permit and Programmatic Agreement for fishpond revitalization.

This report includes a summary of the comments they received related to the draft CDUA (in writing and also in the public hearings), and also their responses and changes, if applicable. Note the explanation about the Army Corps process (last sentence of p.1 and into the second paragraph of p.2), which will include another public notice, and eventually result in the final list of conditions and best management practices.
